  • TESTS: Blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes.

  • SCREENINGS: Many cancer screenings, such as colon cancer screening (preventive and diagnostic) and breast cancer screening (mammogram and ultra-sound), anxiety and depression.

  • VACCINATIONS: Flu, COVID-19, pneumonia, measles, meningitis, shingles, etc.

  • WELLNESS exams for adults, children, and babies.

  • MEDICATIONS: Certain maintenance type drugs are paid in full. Check out the PPO and CDHP preventive drug lists.

TIP: Avoid billing surprises. Tell your doctor you are there for a preventive visits and ask them to let you know if any services or tests may be beyond a fully covered preventive care visit.

  • EXAMS: Check for changes in vision, test for eye diseases and glaucoma, and age-related conditions, such as cataracts.

  • VISION HARDWARE: You get $200 every two years (resets at the beginning of each odd calendar year) for corrective vision hardware, such as lenses, frames, and contacts.

Even if your vision is good, you should have an eye exam at least once in your 20s and twice in your 30s to check for eye diesease. Early treatment can healp preserve your vision.
